Kygo broke into the EDM scene with his uplifting tropical house, a relatively untapped genre (except by the likes of Thomas Jack), that appeals to anyone who's looking for the perfect summer soundtrack. His remixes prove he has an eclectic and yet deeply satisfying taste for any and all genres - when he went from Ed Sheeran's 'I See Fire' to Marvin Gaye's 'Sexual Healing' to TLC's 'Chasing Waterfalls' in his BBC Radio 1 mix, it was like a magical blending of everything I didn't even know I wanted, but then couldn't live without.

Behind the electronic producer, however, is an absolutely mind-blowing pianist, which you'll see in the video below of his Live Lounge performance for BBC Radio 1. Parson James provides some soaringly clear vocals to accompany, and you might recognize his voice from Kygo's single 'Stole The Show.' Together, they tackle Tove Lo's hit single 'Habits (Stay High),' and the result is hauntingly beautiful.
